SPYDER CAP. An ultra-lightweight, shower and dust resistant quick deploy roof for Porsche Spyder 987, 981, 718 and the 718 RS models.  

The modern Porsche Spyder is an iconic drivers car. From the nimble 987 Spyder to the monstrous 718 Spyder RS, these cars were quickly adored by Porsche driving enthusiasts. One recurring issue (particularly with the 987 and RS Spyder’s). The roof! Whilst the factory roof looks great and is effective at sealing your car, it is a nuisance to erect every time you leave your car for a short period or when storing your car in the garage. As an owner of one of these fabulous cars and with a background in engineering, I set about making my life easier…. and hopefully yours.

Say hello to Spyder Cap. The perfect lightweight dust/shower cap designed to quickly cover the interior of your Spyder. No front clips, no opening the boot, simply remove Spyder Cap from its cute little bag, fit one of the hooks into the rear flap door compartment (or hook over the rear latch bars on your 987), pop an elastic loop over the wing mirror and repeat on the other side. Spyder Cap is made from a lightweight yet tough ripstop fabric outer shell. This is lined with a silky smooth satin lining to ease Spyder Cap over your car. A choice of several popular stitch colours to match your car compliments this superb cover.

Please note that Spyder Cap is intended as a dust/light rain shower covering. It is not guaranteed waterproof or to be completely weather resistant. You cannot drive with Spyder Cap fitted.

Spyder Cap fits 987, 981, 718 and 718 Spyder RS models. The elasticated hem is adjustable for a snug fit on any of these cars.

All Spyder Cap’s are made using black outer shell fabric, a contrasting silver/grey lining and the stitch colour you select.
